It may be worth looking at the Andy Cutler-Dr.Schauss interview page 11

onwards in the files section which discusses why Urine porphyrins may

noy be that useful for metal toxicity.

In my opinion a hair test might be a better option, preferably a

doctors data hair elements test.

Consider doing a DDI hair elements test (without the doc), and applying counting

rules.

Porphrins help re - chelating

My son's porphyrins profile came back with very low creatinine levels.

His DAN said that once she corrected for the low creatinine, his metals

levels were normal and that chelating would not be beneficial. I'm not

comfortable with this as we did DMSA a year ago, at which time my son

went from completely silent to at least making sounds.

Is there any way to raise creatinine levels to get a better idea of

what levels metals are at? Or are metals " not an issue " as the DAN

says?

Any help is appreciated!
