Guest guest
My daughter woke up crying this morning ..... She has NEVER done this. Her temp is 97.7; it sounds like she is stuffy but that wouldn't make her cry. I gave in and gave her some motrin because I think she is in pain. Can anyone let me know what i'm working with? Guest guest
My goodness, this anitviral thing is a Roller Coaster!!!!!!!! To go from happy-happy to yelling the house down is a shock!!! My Mom is living with me now and while my daughter was yelling, my Mom was telling me to take her to the hospital. I'm sitting on the bed feeling on her abdomen (as if I know what I'm feeling for!!??). I give her some Motrin and 15 minutes later she's quiet and watching TV. Now, I don't think Motrin works that fast so I am of the belief that the sickness (especially sore throat) was so foreign to her that that's why she was yelling (I mean I know the sore throut hurt but the yelling was ... Whew!!) or I just really got Punked. I really hate that I gave her the Motrin; I'm trying to keep her away from the stuff and let it be a last resort. I didn't give the AM but I will give it shortly. I'm giving 4candex/3virastop for 50lbs. Guest guest
I don't know your daughter, but I do think Motrin can work in 15 minutes, depending on the person. Guest guest
I'm learning alot bout sickness with my daughter lately because that seems to be the case. I had to give it to her again and the same thing happened. Guest guest
We have gotten through the initial illness, what hsould I expect now? We have done all supplements except Candex, Virastop, Magnesium, Biotin and Lysine because she had completely lost her appetite. I know the Can/Vira are supposed to be given on an empty stomach but I'm just not comfortable giving it when she hasn't eaten at all in 24 hours. The Sunday when my daughter got sick from Virastop, she ended up having a high fever, sore throat, runny nose and her bones ached. She even refused to walk. Last night she had some fine bumps on her chest and stomach but they were gone by this morning We are doing much better 2 days later. I wanted to know if I should start again and if I do what should I belooking out for and if I should change the dosage? I was doing 5C/3 to 4V. Thanks, S. Sometimes my son would stall, other times I was able to watch it wear off. At that point I tried increasing the dose, usually with good results. Once my kids no longer needed the lysine, it caused problems. I think I would continue the same dose for a week or two, see if you notice any changes. Are you still seeing increased yeast? > The Sunday when my daughter got sick from Virastop, she ended up having a high fever, sore throat, runny nose and her bones ached. She even refused to walk. Guest guest
Right now, I haven't started back with virastop/candex. We continued with lysine(750mg 2x)/mag(200mg 2x)/bio(2mg 2x). I give it to her am and pm in applesauce. I just upped the lysine last night and got a lot of chatter. She has hives on her neck; is this die-off? We are still healing from the sore throats but she seems more communicative. So apart from the die-off question, can I do this first and virastop 2nd or should this all really be done at the same time? My kids developed several varieties of rashes while on lysine. >>We are still healing from the sore throats but she seems more communicative. So apart from the die-off question, can I do this first and virastop 2nd or should this all really be done at the same time? Either way. You don't really need the Virastop, altho the combination of Virastop and whatever other anti-viral you are using [like the lysine] does tend to eliminate the virus faster. But then, it also tends to increase yeast more. Dana
Guest guest
The hives are staying now and are on her neck, face and chect. Will the hives be a constant while we are on lysine or is this something that will come and go as the dosage changes? Thanks for the help! Will the hives be a constant while we are on lysine or is this something that will come and go as the dosage changes? Certain rashes, for my kids, came and went within a few days. Others stayed around for a month. So long as you are seeing changes, keep the dose the same. Once things settle down, you can consider increasing the dose [which tends to pull out more virus, so you will see symptoms again], or just keep it the same.
