Guest guest
I use this with great success. If it's for a child, good luck getting it into them if they are young. It doesn't taste as bad as it sounds, but it isn't anything I'd drink normally. Into mug of hot water: Squeeze juice of 1/4 lemon, then put the lemon quarter in 2 or 3 Tablespoons raw honey Tablespoon apple cider vinegar teeny tiny pinch cayenne pepper. Seems to relieve throat pain for 2-4 hours. Hope that helps. > > Hello, > > Anyone have a sore throat remedy that doesn't involve gargling? > > Thanks >

Guest guest
We drink lots of teas and use cloraseptic strips. There are a couple medical teas that are out...and we do drink them from time to time...we just boost C and drink lots of hot liquids. hth Ronni > > Hello, > > Anyone have a sore throat remedy that doesn't involve gargling? > > Thanks >
Guest guest
I have had great success with drinking 1/2 litre (2 x 8 oz glasses) of plain spring water with about 1/8th teaspoon of sea salt (the pink or grey kind, not the white) in it. I drink it quickly (within a space of 5 minutes) and, within 15-20 minutes the sore throat is gone. I used to get violent sore throats that lasted for days before I discovered this method. The water tastes only slightly salty but, if that turns you off, you can also lick the salt from your hand. Wait a moment or two for the taste to leave your tongue, and then drink the water. The salt alkalinizes the water, which gets your body alkaline and rehydrates you at the same time. This combination of actions allows your body to defend itself quickly and efficiently. I've told lots of friends and others about this and it's had rave reviews from all.
