Guest guest
Lori, I had VERY severe issues like this. I had toxic mold in two different rental units. Both times caused my son and I major meltdowns. Out of my mind crazy. I thought it was HPA axis stuff. And guess what per Ritchie Shoemaker, MD. " Mold Warriors " it is. www.moldwarriorsinfo.com Do you see ANY black mold, around window sills, bathroom etc. Anyone have recurring sinus infections, which is really mold colonizing. I am way better after we moved out, and got treated. Just my two cents. Causes havoc in some of us. Mercury, lyme, toxic mold all change genetics. Mercury makes the mold reaction way worse. Alison F. 13a. Severe Fight/Flight Irreg Posted by: " lori_mcilwain " lori_mcilwain@... lori_mcilwain Date: Sun Dec 7, 2008 1:27 pm ((PST)) My son has severe fight/flight problems. Very large meltdowns over the (seemingly) smallest things. We've had to separate him from his baby sister for the past five months -- she and I have been living in an apartment -- because her crying sets him off. He's a very sweet boy, but in stress-mode, it's hard for him to control himself. He'll try to go after her. He was doing well for about a week, but we had a two-hour long meltdown yesterday after he got a small bump on the head. Does anyone else's child have this? If so, have you tried anything that's helped? Alpha blockers haven't seemed to work for us. Thanks in advance, Lori
Guest guest
There was a leak under our house, which created a ton of mold. It's been removed for a few weeks now. Sometimes he stays at the apartment with me and his sister stays at the house. I'm anxious to see what moving out will do for him (we're planning to move to a floorplan where they can be separated better). Fall is the worst time of the year for him -- we're covered in leaves over here. I bought the best air filter I could find a couple of years ago -- IQair. Also and aquasauna whole-house water filter, and new heatpump with filter. Mold's a huge problem. Feels like I'll never get away from it. No sinus problems. He's rarely sick these days. But behavior-wise, I know that mold is affecting him. It could be the day before a rain, and I can tell through his behavior that rain is on the way... > > Lori, > > I had VERY severe issues like this. I had toxic mold in two different rental units. Guest guest
I used to be severely allergic to mold. Not sensitive, truly allergic. Yes, you have to stay on top of any indoor mold, but you can't control the fall leaves, other buildings, etc. Treating for yeast, parasites, and NAET have resolved my allergy. I still sometimes get a " tickly " nose when go into a musty area or around fall leaves. Besides that, I'm fine. Hope that helps. > > > > Lori, > > > > I had VERY severe issues like this. Guest guest
NAET worked for you? I may try it again with him -- it seemed to work back in 2003, but we couldn't afford to keep going... > > > > > > Lori, > > > > > > I had VERY severe issues like this. Guest guest
, what do you give her for migraines? > > > > > > There was a leak under our house, which created a ton of mold. Guest guest
Vit E, squash & blueberries..when she was a toddler, she did get tylenol (intolerant of motrins, etc) for concurrent tooth/jaw/head pain, but that is no longer part of her " migraines. " (eliminating fluoride, aluminum & tin sources led to that result ...second thought, and with a concurrent near zero tolerance for any breads, grains, noddles, etc or any generally processed foods...stick to the real foods she tolerates very well & very consistently...that is about it, honestly. epsom baths & rubdowns too, During a severe migraine land moment, lots of tv shows, while she is busy being very very still & untouchable ;( Ummm, most of the time now, we can head off a migraine land moment with just extra vit E. As a side note, she is currently inhaling pumpkin & apricots & grapefruit - I am assuming she is doing a " clean up " after a recent battle with a bug, plus warding off migraine land at the same time wishing you the best, elizabeth > > > > > > > > > There was a leak under our house, which created a ton of mold. Guest guest
ps....the thirdish thought the biggest thing I did for her migraines, was to identify " triggers " and eliminate, keep to a minimum, as many as possible...the possible lists of triggers are relatively endless, btw - this group actually provided the best real answers & ideas for causes & help with addressing those underlying causes. love that wishing you the best, elizabeth > > > > > > > > > There was a leak under our house, which created a ton of mold. Guest guest
Yes, it worked. I go in once in awhile (every 6 -8 months) for a " tune up " and do homeopathy as well, and treat yeast and parasites and avoid chemicals in home cleaners, foods, personal care products. The combo is what seems to work. > > > > > > > > Lori, > > > > > > > > I had VERY severe issues like this. I had toxic mold in two > > different rental units.
