Guest guest
Hi All; I need some help. My sister has an 8 yo boy with ADHD and he is really starting to have problems at school. He can't concentrate, his grades are falling, and his ability to relate to his peers is suffering. My sister has sought advice from mainstream professionals who (of course) are advising prescription meds to control his behaviours. She is open to biomedical intervention but is feeling pressured to relent to the med Rx as her son is really starting to " slip " . She did a 1.5 week trial of GFCFSF, but said she didn't notice any difference in his behaviours and stopped the diet. I think they would be open to trying chelation, however it is going to take a lot of convincing/reassuring that nothing disasterous is going to happen. I know hair tests are recommended to determine need to chelate, however I know there are sources of info out there that discredit the validity of the tests. If anyone has some solid suggestions of articles that will help me to convince them that a) a hair test will be sufficient proof of need for chelation, and that trying a few rounds of (proper) DMSA chelation is not harmful, please let me know. I just need the references. Thanks for reading, Kim
