Guest guest
It helps to go back and pull the vaccine schedule for the years these children were born, and immunized versus say a group of children born in 1985. You can clearly see a difference. Count up the shots a child born in 1995 would have had by the time they were 5 years old. And count up what a child born in 1985 would have had by that same age. I worked in early childhood ed in the early 1990's. I came across ONE child who would classify and definitely had " something " wrong. I did not know what then, but do now. In fact, he was removed from the center due to constant biting, aggression, head banging...a very angry little child that could not be managed. I always felt bad, knew there was something wrong but in 1991...but not what. Now look at a room of kids that age, and at least three are autistic..and others have other labels. I have a 13 year old and a 5 year old...I can clearly see the increase in schools between when the the 13 year old was in preschool and when the 5 year old was. There were no special ed children in my 13 year olds pre-k. My 5 year old...had four other children in addition to himself. In kindergarten last year, there were three other boys and one girl beside himself that are special ed. And two more that looked like they should be...judging by the trouble they had in class. I work in our local school district and we can barely keep up with the growing need for services. We now have so many 12 to 1 and 8 to 1 and 6 to 1 classes. In fact, at the sixth grade level, we had to move them all to one school and set up their own set up with their own principal support staff etc. We could not keep having staff driving all over the district to provide services. It's so obvious to me, but to the schools, they know there is a huge problem, but not why. > > > I had a similar epiphany several months back.....I'd wondered for eight years why our school's kindergarten classes (year 2000) suddenly had several children with autism. There were four K classes, and each class had a mainstreamed autistic child. It just didn't seem right, and I'd never seen such a sudden increase in children mainstreamed with this diagnosis. With a little bit of inquiry last winter, I found that the varicella vaccine had been added to the schedule in 1995. The dots were suddenly connected! > > > > > > @...: oldworldtile@...: Tue, 2 Sep 2008 20:24:16 +0000Subject: [ ] Sortof OT :Was it for 1998 births that the vaccination schedule nearly doubled? > > > > > This is sortof OT but I can't find this info and I know someone here may know. In our state there is a DRAMATIC difference in test scores for 4th graders from last year to the prior year. The trend has been fairly consistent. 2007-2008 4th graders were born in 1997-1998. Anecdotally, you can see a difference -- the teachers after this group is done for the year always look like they've been hit by a truck. There are more boys with ADHD and behavior issues -- but the test scores don't lie. I'm not talking a classroom or school - the state scores show a difference. So -- didn't the vaccination schedule nearly double for 1998 births? > > > > > > _________________________________________________________________ > Be the filmmaker you always wanted to be—learn how to burn a DVD with Windows®. > http://clk.atdmt.com/MRT/go/108588797/direct/01/ > >
