Guest guest
>Hi Joanna Lead in the yellow may be significant but it might be worth you posting the hair test in the hair test files section if you have'nt done so already preferably the original if it is Doctors data. As saying somethings are high or somethings are low might not mean very much if the counting rules are met. Guest guest
Hi Kenny, Actually i will try to post today. The counting rules for mercury have been met adn i guess this is a plus, given that 4 months ago we had not met the counting rules at all ! However, lead arsenic and antimony are higher than what they were 4 months ago. Is this right ? Our challenge test ( yes, we made the mistake and did one of those) showed a lot of lead being pulled , so I was surprised at our results. Basically I want to know if I should continue another month with DMSA alone just to drop the lead and others a little and then introduce ALA. Take care and thanks for helpng. I will try to post now. Have you removed sources of current exposures? http://www.danasview.net/metals.htm >>Should we introduce ALA > now or do a few more sessions of DMSA beforehand. I used only ALA, so in my opinion, you can add ALA any time you want to. Dana

Guest guest
Hi Dana and kenny, Thank you very much for the support. We still cannot pin point the current exposures because we have stopped using aluminium pots and pans for over 5 months now. I am looking into other things such as pyjama clothing etc. In the meantime I am going to finish the trial of valtrex we are doing (we are on day 20 with no major wows)and then do a 2 rounds of DMSA before introducing ALA into the equation. I will do a few rounds of DMSA +ALA and then I will drop the DMSA and continue with ALA. I am not comfortable with using DMSA so I will be very happy when I drop it and continue with ALA alone. Guest guest
Hi , Actually the less medicine I need to give him the better, but to tell you the truth I do worry about the liver. I have heard the DMSA can be taxing on the liver. Although we do regular liver tests to ensure his liver is in good shape, we have also started a trial of Valtrexwith Diflucan and I am afraid if I give DMSA as well it can be too much. I know ALA helps the liver so perhaps the ALA will help balance things out. We are also giving milk thistle so I know I am looking after his liver, but like I said, the less " medicine " the better. Thanks Joanna > > > > Hi Dana and All, > > > > We got our test results back a few days ago and they show that > > my son > > > > is no longer mercury toxic (in his body of course).
