Anyone use Sambucol as anti viral & immune booster?

I spoke to our DAN! today. I told him we give our son Epicor to boost

the immune system and OLE as an antiviral. He said that Epicor was

too " stimulating " to the immune system and OLE was too " harsh " and

that we should switch to Sambucol, made from elderberries, which is a

better immune booster and antiviral. Does this make sense? My son

has been so healthy and doing well on what we give. Does anyone have

experience with this supplement? Should we switch to this?
