Guest guest
I have been reading the posts about Staff infection. Two years after contracting Lyme and not diagnosed. I was put through a unnecessary Hystorectomy. The Doctor told me I was eaten up with cancer. It was not cancer but endometriosis. The surgeon did not do a biopsy as he did not have a pathologist there. It was a Sunday and he did not bother to bring one in. He came into my room as soon as I was coherant and said he was putting me on a helicopter to go to UCSF to be opened back up as he had left my uterous attached to my bladder by Fibroid tumors. I have run a chonic fever eversince and now I wonder If a Doctor as careless as this man is. Might have left a piece of gauze in there or who knows. It makes me wonder as I can be on very high doses of Abx and still running this fever. He moved to Texas and continues to practive there. Guest guest
Tami: It still may be staph. The tip off is that you run a low grade fever and everytime you take antibiotics you feel better. I have has staph for about 5-6 years. ( MRSA) I only treat it when I get REALLY symptomatic. Then I take it IV.Otherwise I just irrigate and put up with it. It can be hard to clear with polyps that act like a bunch of grapes with no ciliary function. Carol staff infection I was wondering if anyone has ever had a staff infection. Since my frontal sinusotomy in early March I've had sharp headaches radiating from where my doc drilled the holes in my brow bone. Each time I take antibiotics, the sharp headaches get better, but after the dose they come back. I've always had pressure headaches, but these are worse. I also run low fevers, varying from 99-100.2. I get very fatigued too, like needing to lie down every couple of hours. My energy is the first thing that comes back when I'm on antibiotics. I've still got the mold problem in my house, and maybe mold is causing all symptoms. Any idea's. Tami
Guest guest
Carol, Thank you for replying. I can't believe they can't get rid of staff for you. 5-6 years is a long time. Do you run a fever all the time too? I've been on Avelox for 6 days and the fever finally went away yesterday. My energy level isn't real good yet, but the sharp headaches are better. Did they test you to see what type of bacteria is causing the staff? Polyps aren't a problem for me, but I bet my frontals never draining is. I'll do a little investigating over the web to see if I can get more info. Thanks again, Tami staff infection I was wondering if anyone has ever had a staff infection. Guest guest
What is safer to use for a staph infection rather than using a high sulfer antiobotic?

Guest guest
Lots of garlic, the right homeopathic remedy & goldenseal (chinese goldenseal root especially). If still need further help lavender oil and sage. Neem is a great preventative but hard to ingest unless you have the right recipe :/ Liz > > > > What is safer to use for a staph infection rather than using a high > sulfer antiobotic? > > > > > If it's just a skin infection, you might try Manuka Honey: > http://tahilla.typepad.com/mrsawatch/wounds_honey/index.html > > There is also this from an old email of mine on another list (because > MRSA is a serious issue for people with cystic fibrosis): > > There just happens to be an article called " More Good News about > Coconut Oil " > http://www.westonaprice.org/knowyourfats/coconut-antimicrobial.html > It indicates that studies on coconut oil, other medium chain > triglycerides and oregano oil show promise for treating MRSA. > > I haven't had a chance to look the site over as much as I would like > and I don't know how trustworthy the information from Westin-Price is. > But I know if I don't share it now, I won't remember later. You can probably find it at GNC. You can probably get at either of those either in person or online. And probably a few other places that I'm not familiar with, like iherb.com Michele http://www.healthgazelle.org http://www.kidslikemine.org http://www.solanorail.org

Guest guest
..Because these organisms are frequently multidrug-resistant, most patients require intravenous therapy with vancomycin. Ask your doctor to stop giving you oral drugs and go for the big guns On Wed, Apr 6, 2011 at 10:05 AM, Lily Rose <lilyrose_bell@...> wrote: My suggestion is to check yourself into a hospital and see a new Dr. It sound like you need to be in some IV drug for some time..just my thoughts....I don't accept a just have to live with stuff anymore...maybe try something alternative as well. but you don't want to screw around with staff!!!
