Guest guest
Hi Chana, This appears to meet the " all low " rule, so high likelihood of mercury toxicity. S S Hair Test - Please help interpert Posted by: " ds8440 " ds8440@... ds8440 Sun Dec 14, 2008 9:32 am (PST) The Frquent dose chelation recommended that I come here. I tested my 4 year old son, and would like some help in understanding the results. Which minerals aren't where they should be, what treatments.... I'm totally new to this. http://www.livingne <http://www.livingnetwork.co.za/files/hairtest_224.pdf> twork.co.za/files/hairtest_224.pdf His behavior is listed in the pdf, but it's not too dramatic stuff - nothing crazy out of the ordinary. Yet after reading other people's comments, I figured it doesn't hurt to see if all these subtle stuff is normal boy, active, behavior, or if it's more than that. He can get frustrated easily. (So can I.) In the school setting, he behaves well. His skills are up to par, he understand well. He's more of a leader, he can hit a bit in school, if he wants something and not getting it, although it's really not often that this happens - part of the learning to share process! At home, he likes to have things first, before his 2.5 yr. old brother, but he usually plays very nicely together with him. He can wake up crying from a nightmare, and then it takes a really long time to calm him down. He's trained by day, but at night he needs a diaper. He refuses to put it on - saying " I'm not a baby. " We have to put it once he's asleep. He wakes up at times when we put it on him, and he gets very upset, cries a while... For his constipation Magnesium is what's working now to help him. (Natural Calm from Nutri Supreme.) He loves sweet things. So do I - I eat a lot of fruits, if I want to stay off candy. It's really hard for me without sweet foods. I also really like protein - chicken, meat. (I'm going to test for yeast, I think.) Guest guest
Thanks, but what's next? I have no clue as what to chelate with, as there are so many things here. What do I start with, what is he missing? I also have a 2.5 year old, and a 9 month old. Can I assume they're also toxic? Guest guest
I took a quick peek at the test..I would look for antimony/arsenic sources - eliminate as many as can, same with lead...a good place to start is at.... www.danaview.net/metals.htm For best chelators, how, which one, etc...this is a good place to look... http://home.earthlink.net/~moriam/ I did assume, for my older children, that they shared these toxicities, that were apparent on my then 2yo's hair test...and the cat who was born right before my girl was This cat also had issues, very similar to my migraine girl's. Super aarrgghh & a happy dance - this cat has had her own share of dramatic improvements in the past 3-ish years wishing you the best, elizabeth > > Thanks, but what's next? > > I have no clue as what to chelate with, as there are so many things > here. Guest guest
The first thing to do is to try to identify and reduce/remove sources of exposure. Are your children vaccinated? Have they had the flu shot? Do you or they have ANY mercury amalgam dental fillings? Do you/they eat fish (tuna, etc.)? Check www.danasview.net/metals for sources of exposure. When the test meets the all low counting rule it doesn't mean the individual is actually low in all those elements, it means that because of the mercury the body can't use those essential elements properly. If the individual has ANY mercury amalgam dental fillings you can't safely chelate until those are removed according to proper protocol. Depends on when the most recent know exposure, including vaccines, occurred as to whether to start with DMSA or ALA. Both are available in the US without prescription. DMSA chelates mercury from the body but not the brain, so eventually you'll need to use ALA. Some chelate with both, some with just ALA. DMSA also chelates lead. ALA also chelates arsenic. Guest guest
You can assume the younger ones might have some level of toxicity, maybe less, but some. If they are vaccinated..them surely some. If in doubt, hair test them too. You can use dmsa, dmsa/ala or ala. As suggested. The protocol is in the files. The supplements for chelation are in the files also. > > Thanks, but what's next? > > I have no clue as what to chelate with, as there are so many things > here. Guest guest
Than you . 1. My kids are vaccinated - though not the flu shot. How long do I have to wait to chelate? 2. I have amalgams, and with pregnancy/nursing can't do too much yet about this, but this shouldn't affect my kids, should it? Maybe the nurshing one? 3. We don't eat a lot of fish, and tuna - several times a year. 4. My kids have no dental fillings. And I got them all organic mattresses. 5. I'm in Canada. 6. How can I know if my furniture has stuff on it? How do I test for it? Is there someone who can check my house not only for lead, but arsenic, antimony, tin... I checked danasview. Are regular batteries and recharagble ones bad? What do I use then? Should I not allow them to touch coins for silver? Nothing in the silver really applies, how can I remove it? For each item that my son has there are differnt chelating agents listed. Most don't overlap. Am I supposed to chelate with several things at once? I need some guidance here. What's the most important thing to start with? With elements, and which minerals? 7. What kind of doctor should I see? 8. Would homeopathy chelating be effective? Is regular Chelating really safe? I know this sounds funny after giving vaccines. But I have never done this before and I'm a bit nervous, especially when I don't know of a local doctor/ natural doctor, who I can get my kids checked with to make sure it's going fine. Thanks so much, Chana
