Guest guest
I would like to say that I have been using Cell Food for almost two years now as well as BrainChild Nutritionals Vitamins and Minerals for myself AND my children one of which is considered severely Autistic. I can honestly say as a divorced, single parent that I have enjoyed better health in my adult years than I ever did as a kid since using these products. I can't even remember the last time any of us were sick. I don't worry about the cold and flu season anymore! Not only have I saved a ton on doctor bills, I also have the energy to live with the daily rigors and demands of parenting an ASD child and two sibs. We are living and thriving. My ASD child is doing better than ever before and I am confident he will completely recover! I have NOTHING but the highest praises of Cell Food and BrainChild products. It's disturbing to read such negative and slanderous statements about products that have been nothing short of miraculous for me and my family. I can understand raising questions, I'm all for it. However, SHAME ON ANYONE who would scare parents like myself just to make a point. Anyone who's " walked a mile in our shoes " or had to stay up all night with a child that is screaming and suffering, or had to file for bankruptcy due to the treatment costs of Autism, or whose marriage ended because of the stress of Autism and all that goes with it would not be so quick to just indiscriminately say things to scare people to make a point. SHAME ON YOU! As if people like us haven't been through enough! Sheesh!
Guest guest
Are you kidding me? Why do you think many of us are on this board? Because we like to hang around an autism treatment newsgroup?????? First of all, I think you need to calm down. We are all parents here who are concerned because we gave a product to our child and found out that there were questionable ingredients in it. I appreciate Andy's knowledge on the subject and the very fact that he brought this to our attention. I also appreciate Terri's work in getting to the bottom of this issue. I speak very highly of Brainchild's products and have recommended them to countless people. However, I (and I am sure I am not alone) am highly disappointed that any company who creates supplements specifically for ASD kids would have made this recommendation in the first place. I am disappointed that their initial research did not raise the questions of why radioactive ingredients were in it. Ok, maybe appalled is a better word. That being said, I am patiently waiting to see what the results of testing this supplement are. In the meantime, I have discontinued giving this (cellfood) to my son and I will not be giving it to him again. The negligence of the manufacturer in the labeling of their product is enough for me to never purchase a product made by them ever again. What I've read are posts by concerned parents - not by anyone deliberately looking to slander a company. I think you need to take a step back, calm down and look at this issue again - and perhaps be grateful that there are people out there raising questions and looking out for our children. Not everyone who says they are actually are. Haven't we already learned that lesson? Guest guest
Well I'm sure glad a few people " scared " me away from chelating incorrectly when I was first considering it. I am grateful they didn't sugar coat the message, but instead hit me with it blunt and cold, enough to wake me up and take notice that if I did the wrong thing by following my smiling, peaceful, candy colored doctors advice that I could in fact cause more damage to my child. Maybe I'm in the minority, but I don't like all the feel good, hand holding, fluffy and often hollow words that get thrown around in some fained gesture of support. If I'm about to do something that could be detrimental to my child, I want to know about it... tell me straight and hard. Guest guest
I coudln't agree more. I take nothing personally on these boards. They are usually out to help, and heal my child, and I appreciate it more than words can express.... I truly feel the same concern for their children. They are on my mind ALL day!
