Guest guest
If you suspect inflammation, I would make an appointment with a GI and talk about an endoscopy to check things out in the inside. My dd has very painful reflux since birth. She was on prevacid and zegerid for a while to prevent the acid from burning her esophagus. She had an endoscopy done and things look good inside. We then started her on enzymes, probtioitcs and a food elimation process. These things helped her vomiting issues tremendously. She is now off medication and she still vomits here and there, but is not as bad as it used to be. HTH Leo No virus found in this incoming message. At my house, digestive enzymes and removing certain foods eliminated most reflux. Dana
Guest guest
We found our son's reflux only by endoscopy. The biopsies from his esophagus showed scar tissue from years of untreated and silent acid reflux. Our son is Nonverbal and had literally burned for years and couldn't tell us. Our GI doc prescribed Prefaced solutes 30mg each day. We saw improvement on the second dose. Guest guest
If Dana's suggestions do not eliminate reflux look at testing for H. Pylori bacteria. This can be treated naturally...vrp.com has some information on it and stuff to treat it. > > We suspect our son has esophageal inflammation and possibly silent > reflux. > > If anyone's been in the same boat, can you share what has helped > your child? > > > At my house, digestive enzymes and removing certain foods eliminated > most reflux. > > Dana >
