Dear all,

The special message for Asia is that more people have died of AIDS compared to

earlier years,bringing up the urgent need to scale up treatment coverage and

PMTCT programmes.

India and China the two largest countries in the region still cover less than

50% of eligible infected population under ART and 20% under PMTCT. A long way

from Universal Access!
