Guest guest
I'm on day 5 of my first challenge, so I'm not going to be much help. I just wanted to say at 5'4 " and 121 you're probably right where you should be with the weight, at least from everything I've read. Now - toning is different, but the weight number should be all right. I am only using dumbbells in this challenge as I can't afford a gym membership and only have dumbbells... there's a whole slew of exercises you can do with just dumbbells so I don't see that as a limiting factor. Then again, like I said, I'm 5 days old. So maybe you should heed a veteran's advice. > okay beside emotionally lol...i just uploaded my pick and i am in week > 3 now and haven't made any progress this challenge... > > I don't care if i lose any more weight if i at least tone...although > at 5'4 and 121 pounds i guess i could lose a few more...my tummy > mostly will never be all that due to 3csects and the last one was with > the twins which measured me at 11 mos preggo...but i would at least > like to try and see... > > what i need help with is how do i start getting definition and > getting toned....do i need to use supplements...i saw renee/skwiggs > creatine pics which were awesome by the way but she gets to work out > hours in the day.. i am lucky to manage one hour of peace and thats > pushing it..lol > > i am eating clean but around 1200-1500 calories a day... i have just > started more cardio... i currently running a 5k@3-4x a wk gonna throw > in a HIIT for speed work... and just started doing my weights again > due to gone on vacation... > > i am only using dumbells ...should i move up to something else... > > i was looking at the pics and seen awesome results > > > thanks in advance > > any advice anything bueller bueller?? > > > val
Guest guest
I think you look great! ESPECIALLY your stomach! What exercises do you do for your abs? I think you should cut yourself some slack - you obviously did great on your previous challenge, so I'm sure you will see the same awesome results this time if you keep doing what you did. I have been noticing more definition esp. in my arms since I really started focusing on increasing my weights consistently. I just try to make sure I am challenged every day. And, I really make sure to hit my 9's & 10's on my HIIT. It's amazing how quickly you see results from that - EVERY workout I can increase my speed or time! I started w/ just dumbbells, too, but then went & bought a basic free weight set. It cost about $30 or $40, I think, and included a long 15lb. barbell, 2 3 lb.dumbbell bars and around 100lbs. (again, I think) of different sized weight plates ranging from 1.25 lbs. to 10lbs. It's extremely versatile and lets you do a lot more weight and exercises. Keep up the great work & keep those pics coming! > okay beside emotionally lol...i just uploaded my pick and i am in week > 3 now and haven't made any progress this challenge... > > I don't care if i lose any more weight if i at least tone...although > at 5'4 and 121 pounds i guess i could lose a few more...my tummy > mostly will never be all that due to 3csects and the last one was with > the twins which measured me at 11 mos preggo...but i would at least > like to try and see... > > what i need help with is how do i start getting definition and > getting toned....do i need to use supplements...i saw renee/skwiggs > creatine pics which were awesome by the way but she gets to work out > hours in the day.. i am lucky to manage one hour of peace and thats > pushing it..lol > > i am eating clean but around 1200-1500 calories a day... i have just > started more cardio... i currently running a 5k@3-4x a wk gonna throw > in a HIIT for speed work... and just started doing my weights again > due to gone on vacation... > > i am only using dumbells ...should i move up to something else... > > i was looking at the pics and seen awesome results > > > thanks in advance > > any advice anything bueller bueller?? > > > val

Guest guest
I'm so sorry to hear of your horrible pain. I know how that is and I wish I could do something to really help you. All I can really tell you is that the most effective thing for me has been Cymbalta. With Cymbalta, I actually feel good. I feel better than I did after getting the epidural steroid injections and better than I did when I was on morphine. I still have to take Vicodin occasionally for breakthrough pain, but only a few times a month. I have heard of people getting good relief with nerve blocks, but I've never had them. I hope you can get your doctor to move urgently to do something to improve this for you. If you don't get the care you need, you may need to get another doctor. In the meantime, try the best you can to take it very easy, not do anything to make it worse and pamper yourself a little. I'll say a prayer for you, --- nachobaby2 <nachobaby2@...> wrote: > Hello Everyone, > I have had spinal stenosis for 14 years now, and recently it has > gotten much worse. Guest guest
She is out of control on this round of chelation. She is seeing people that aren't there. She is laughing hilariously. She is racing a mile an minute. All the other rounds were pretty ok. Things started going bonkers last week (while not chelating) Its when I started zinc. It was 15mg. and she went crazy. She started to come down a little and then I started a round and the round is awful. There was no way I could continue. She couldnt catch her breath. I gave her charcoal to get whatever I could out of her system. Oh my gosh,it is painful to watch her. Any advice please!!!

Trying a bunch of things over the next several days is a lot more likely to hurt her than just waiting and seeing how things go.
