Guest guest
Hi , I'd also like more info about your experience with lithium. My daughter is not bi-polar that I know of, but she has lots of mood swings. Her lithium on her hair tests is at the low end of the range (0.008 in a range of 0.007 - 0.023) and now I'm wondering if she would benefit from taking lithium orotate. I gather from reading Andy's past posts that the doses in lithium orotate are safe for supplementing and that people in need of lithium respond well to it. So I'm wondering if we should try it. Can others also comment about using lithium? What symptoms indicate a need for it? Do you have to display bi-polar symptoms to benefit? And on that subject, what *exactly* are bi-polar symptoms? My DD is a very emotional child, and reacts with extremes to seemingly simple problems. Her reactions are often dramatic, especially when she's hurt emotionally or has a conflict. She's also been having fits of anger in the past few months, which I've come to see as being linked to a hormonal imbalance but could these be linked to low lithium levels. I'm wondering if she's got enough lithium not to be bi-polar but maybe it's low enough that it affects her ability to control her emotions? I don't know much about this and I'm just fishing for more info about the effects of this particular supplement on people's ability to control their emotions.
