More sensitive to pain?

Hi.

I started noticing I'm more sensitive to pain these days after beginning

supplementation a few months ago. Here's my most recent list (it changes a

lot):

multi-vitamin

calcium

vitamin C (500mg twice a day)

sometimes magnesium

probiotics

biotin (300mcg)

milk thistle

selenium (200mcg)

I recently stopped GSE, oil of oregano, and omega 3, 6, 9 blend (this one's

temporary, and I may just go back to CLO).

Anyone know what could cause my nerves to be more sensitive?

Thanks!

What kind of stimulus causes the pain and what does it feel like?

Any stimulus, really. i.e. my son wacks me during play hurts more, my teeth

feel more sensitive, needles for blood draw or dental anesthetic hurts me

more... It seems like I have heightened pain sensation all over... or maybe

I have low tolerance to pain... I've also been getting chiropractic

adjustments, so maybe the nerves are starting to work the way they should.

Or maybe it's the 3 amalgam removals int he past month. Is that possible?

I'm taking selenium...

Consider some adrenal support.

My daughter got like this, and it is better with adrenal support. It

sounds like you have been through a lot of changes in a few months

with amalgam removal/supps/chiropratic work. (that was you, right?)

I found that my one kid was hypersensitive to pain/touch without

adrenal cortex. So worth a thought if you can't pinpoint anything

else. Even people touching her made her flinch and react.

Oh and get back on the EFA's soon, those protect nerves. But I don't

see any of the other supplements being something that might be

" linked " to what's going on.

Aahh, thanks. I just mailed in my 24-hour saliva test, and I'm sure it'll

come back low. I was recording my temperature as best as I could, and they

were all over the place and really low. I'm also getting my thyroid checked

too.

Yup, I've been going through amalgam removals, supplements, and chiro

adjustments. The supplements have given me a lot of energy, and chiro

adjustments did wonders for my pain (didn't realize how much pain I was in

until the pain went away!).

I did have a nerve in my tooth die that cause an abscess that I just got

root canal therapy for yesterday, so maybe that is contributing to my

overall pain sensitivity.

Thanks for reminding me to take my EFA - I'll go do that now!

Yes, I just read this something about sensitivity to pain under

adrenals in Andy's book.

,

talks in his book Adrenal Fatigue about how very hard

infections are on the adrenal glands. Something like an abscess on

top of other stresses in life can push you over the edge. Also, even

though you didn't " realize " the pain you were in, it would have been

a constant source of stress for your adrenals.
