Guest guest
Hello All -- We have been following the Andy Cutler Protocol to chelate my son (4.3 years) whose Urinary porphrins test showed highly elevated levels of mercury and lead. We started with DMSA alone 12.5 mg and worked our way up slowly, adding ALA at 12.5 mg and then working our way up slowly with that. Now we're at 22mg DMSA/22mg ALA --- 3 days on/off. We've been at this for about 2 months and haven't seen any great " Wows " or even bad reactions. We started him on Nystatin a few weeks before we started the DMSA -- and I did notice that his teeth grinding stopped and I haven't seen him flap in a while, but that's about it. His attention and focus are still so poor. I don't think he's any more verbal than he was before. I know it can take a while, but I was just wondering how long it took others to see anything -- and what they saw. We are scheduled to see Dr. Brown in Wisconsin Jan 8 --- maybe we need to use DMPS --- or maybe attack via an anti-viral protocol first? Any stories or words of advice would be appreciated. Thanks much -- Anne

It was the supplements that recovered him, especially in the area of speech. What helped my son the most for speech was anti-fungals, anti-virals, and B1/B12/folic/carnitine. >> I know it can take a > while, but I was just wondering how long it took others to see > anything -- and what they saw. My son started tolerating a few supps at about round 10. Dana
Guest guest
I think it was three months in when we saw our miraculous gains but we used lots of supplements and antivirals also to see those gains.
