Is Registration u/s 12A of Income Tax Required for NGO Partners in SACS?

Dear Forum Members

Chhattisgarh SACS has invited proposals from NGOs for empanelment and they are

asking the NGOs to submit audit reports in Form No. 10B.

We could gather the information that this Form No. 10B is required under Income

Tax for NGOs which are registered u/s 12A.

Just wanted to know, if NACO has changed guidelines and is allowing NGOs

registered u/s 12A as their partners.
