Dear All,

Greetings from the civil society block of the India CCM. Middle of last year,

new India-CCM was constituted which included eight elected NGO representatives

(2 HIV, 2 TB, 1 Malaria, 1 Gender, 1 Child-rights, 1 Sexual Minorities) and

three people living with diseases (1 HIV, 1 TB and 1 Malaria).

Please refer to http://www.india-ccm.org/ for additional details.

Since then both these constituencies have organized ourselves to participate

actively in the CCM meetings representing the larger civil society and also in

the process of developing mechanisms for obtaining and providing feedback to the

larger civil society.

During the CCM meeting on May 4, it was decided that India will apply for 10th

round to the global fund which will be announced on May 20th.

Towards this India CCM has formed a sub-committee which is seeking the list of

national gaps from all the constituencies which will be discussed and

prioritized during the sub-committee meeting next week on May 18.

In this regard civil society block of India CCM request the civil society

colleagues to send list of three major gaps in the national program using the

following format by close of business on Saturday.

We request the civil society colleagues not to send us long emails, personal

emails or complaints/attacks, but focus only sending three major gaps in the

national that should be addressed through Round 10.

Once we receive your feed back, we will compile and submit the list to the

sub-committee on behalf of the larger civil society and will also share the same

with you through e-forums.

Simultaneously the sub-committee also requested list of priorities from all

other constituencies (central and state government, academic, people living with

diseases, private sector, UN

partners and bi-lateral partners).

Sub-committee will review all these lists and develop priorities for the round

10 and subsequently will call for proposal in the selected areas.

All the replies should be send to Indiaccm.cso@... using the

following format.

· Respondent name

· Organization and or network affiliation

· Address of the organization

· Designation and contact details

· List of three major gaps in the national program (not more than ten

sentences in total)
