Guest guest
Dear Moderator, Greetings from DNP+!! Kindly post this message:- Government on Tuesday informed the Delhi High Court that it would start a centre soon in South Delhi to provide dialysis for treatment of HIV positive patients. Appearing for the Centre, counsel Jatan Singh submitted before Justice S Muralidhar that government, along with Apollo Hospital, would start the centre at Sadiq Nagar area by end of July. He said the centre will provide a one-year course for the staff to train them while dealing with AIDS patients, particularly to them who were not economically sound. Justice Muralidhar also asked the Centre to clear its stand whether a government hospital, run by either the Centre or the state, can refer any poor patient for treatment in any private hospital free of cost. The Court asked the Centre's lawyer to convey its stand to it by May 21, the date fixed for further hearing in the case. The Court was hearing a petition filed by a poor patient suffering from HIV positive and needed dialysis.
