The conference will highlight evaluated prevention programs, intervention

research and national policies that address the links between alcohol and HIV,

and that are focused on risk reduction.

A special emphasis of this yea's conference is the role of gender norms that can

elevate HIV-related risks for both women and men especially in the presence of

alcohol
