I think this is a great idea. I'm not very computer literate...is there a way to

stream line this so that anyone who wants to could chime in under each category,

say - probiotics, we all say which ones we like or put a check next to it if it

is already on the list, where we buy it maybe, prices change so that can be

tricky. Rather than you having to collect all the data?I'm swamped right now,

other wise I'd off to help, Alison M

In the files section there is a list of the more popular things used,

while not by brand, some brands are listed. Sometimes weights too,

sometimes not, but it can help start out your list and you can add to

it from there.

It's called " supplement file " .

At the bottom of that list are basic supplements for chelation and

those list dosing by weight. You can probably use this stuff to start

off a good list and we can all add stuff from there.

Like I can help with GSE and adrenal cortex stuff:

Nutribiotics Tablets: 1/4 tablet to start in a child under 50 pounds,

gradually adding another 1/4 every few days. Always follow with

probiotics 4 or more hours after the gse. Children over 50 pounds can

begin at 1/2 tablet. Infants, 1/8 tablet or sprinkle some powder from

crushing the tablets. Never use gse without probiotics. The liquid is

bitter, some children will take it in juice, some will not. Begin with

1-3 drops. Slow and low approach to avoid " die off " reactions.

I have not used other brands of this, because I was very happy with

the quality of this brand and felt satisfied with the information the

company provided me about it's manufacturing. Some children do not

tolerate GSE due to phenol issues or grapefruit allergy. I think the

phenol kids can take it if no phenol is used (but check this with

those whose kids can't take it be sure I don't have my info wrong).

Adrenal Cortex Extract: For symptoms of adrenal fatigue, irritability,

sensitivity to light/sound/touch, children who cannot sleep at night

and are hard to wake in the morning, children who tantrum and meltdown

over everything. Often times their hair test indicates slow adrenals.

I use Allergy Research group due to their use of organic glandular

that is tested for purity and safety. Children under 50 pounds begin

at 1/4 capsule in the morning. Often times they do not need more than

this. Wait a few days for full effect, if you see the benefits wear

off mid day, they will need more than 1/4. Then you can add another

1/4 before 4 pm. Do not use it after that as it seems to keep children

awake. Children over 50 pounds may need 1/4 cap or more. it's very

individual how much one needs. Older children closer to the size of an

adult (100 pounds) can take one capsule in the morning.

Adding more as needed. In my experiences, most younger children do not

need much of this. Adults can vary from 1-6 capsules a day. It also

seems to work better if given a few times a day but before dinner. My

youngest child did not need this, he did fine with 1/4 cap in the

morning.

Melatonin: I used any brand. .25 mg for a child under 50 pounds. 1/2mg

and up for older children. Adult sized kids 1mg. You can use up to 5mg

for adult size but we never needed that much. 2mg was the top we

needed for a 120 pound young person with terrible insomnia.

The database section might be the easiest area to use, for

this...wishing all the best, elizabeth

There's a lot of good supplement info in Andy's Amalgam Illness book.

Great... thanks everyone for your inputs. I am going to use the

database section which has the table name " Supplement List " . Right now

there are only 4 entries in there, hopefully we will have a full list

of supplements.

Thanks,

Maya
