Women to Vienna and Beyond: A Women’s Networking Zone at AIDS2010

Building on a decade of women’s organizing at and

around the International AIDS Conferences, the Women’s Networking Zone

(WNZ) AIDS2010 will take place in the Global Village of the International AIDS

Conference in Vienna from the 18th to the 23rd of July

2010. The WNZ2010 builds on a consultative process from 2008 to 2010 to

identify key issues affecting women and young women in relation to HIV and AIDS

globally with particular attention to the Europe and Central Asia region. The

process has been led by and inclusive of women and young women living with HIV,

whose leadership the WNZ seeks to promote while encouraging linkages between

women locally, regionally and globally. Our message for AIDS2010: “WOMEN’S RIGHTS HERE, RIGHT NOW!”

We are extending our deadline to Friday in order to

accommodate the tremendous interest in the WNZ, however we will be unable to

review proposals received after that date. Thank you for your interest and
