Does anyone know if high dose vitamin C- 1,000-5,000mg can actually encourage

the growth of malignant cancer cells?  I was trying to get rid of constipation

with high dose vitamin C and my pedi. was alarmed by the large dose due to this

issue.

Any thoughts?

Alyssa

There is no credible argument or evidence this would be true.

There is no reason to believe it.

If the pedi. becomes agitated, dump them and look for a real doctor instead.

Legitimate experts confine their commentary and opinions to their area of

competence.

Medical Doctors don't seem to adhere to this ethical standard.

Dear Alyssa,

There was a man in Cold Spring Harbor who healed himself of cancer by taking

I think it was 10,000 units a day, which I believe he continued with once

healed, although perhaps not so high.

He may also have used wheatgrass juice, etc.

I met a man in Trader Joes in Plainview (2 towns over) that was

buying an entire cart full of vitamin C (about 40 bottles) and told

me that he cured cancer (stayed cancer free) by taking 18,000 mg of

vitamin c a day. Same man? A friend?

My son took 10,000 mg a day of C while chelating. We took it in the sodium

ascorbate form and ramped up slowly from 250mg a day going by bowel tolerance.

He took these high doses for 6 months.

Maybe he should find out what is creating so much oxidative stress. It

might be a little cheaper for him in the end :-))))))))

The most I ever gave my son, which caused major improvement and NO

diarrhea, was 50,000mg per day for about 3 months.

I once took 20,000 mg a day of C for a week for salivary stones and it helped

clear them out greatly but it also gave me kidney stones which I got to pass

while at disneyworld:) They were small calcifications and I dealt with the pain

alright and didn't need to go to the hospital or doctor. I think I took like 4

ibuprofen or two aleve for it. My naturopath said that high doses of C

sometimes will cause kidney stones to pass if you have them. No diarrea though.

I guess the positive is that if you are going to have kidney stones, flush

yourself out with C and pass them while they are small and do it while at the

happiest place on earth:)

,

Could you explain what you mean by salivary stones please?

Thanks,

Anita

For my son, it was wonderful. The more I increased the vitamin C, the

better he did.

> do you think it caused your son to detox?

I was using that dose more as an anti-viral. It removed cold/flu

viruses from his brain, and prevented new viruses from going into his

brain.

That is not fun!

I was in the hospital for 3 days, several years ago, from kidney

stones. I used IP6 to break them up, I could feel them leaving when I

started the IP6, but it was just " discomfort " , not pain. About an

hour after each dose, I felt more break up.

Picture stones the size of a small bead on up to a pea passing through your tiny

salivary gland. There are many salivary glands in the mouth. Stones are

calcifications similar to kidney stones only in the salivary gland. They hurt

and can block saliva from passing through the gland which then builds up and

causes infection. Passing them is like being in labor. Supposably they are

incurable. They reoccur. There isn't a lot of information on them on the

internet. Some people get the effected salivary glands removed. They could be

related to thyroid problems.
