Guest guest
----- Original Message ----- From: kimandglen.quinn Hi All; We started our first round of DMSA only for our girls yesterday at 4pm. Have been following AC protocol every 4 hours around the clock with supporting supplements. My youngest daughter is aprox 45 lbs and is taking 5mg of DMSA per dose. Today at 4:30 pm (a half hour after her dose of DMSA and supporting supps) she vomitted. Prior to her throwing up, she was fine -- running around and active. She suddenly started whining and within 5 minutes threw up. ===>This does happen to a few kids and they go on to use Dmsa with no problem, but check out pictures of -'s syndrome and see if the pictures of the rash match up, if so don't use DMSA any further.===> My thoughts are the vomitting/rash is due to herx reaction/detox. But I also wonder if she is having a reaction to the sulphur based DMSA -- she is intolerant to sulphur based antibiotics. I am going to stop the round for her and maybe try again next week. Any input appreciated. ===>The intolerance to antibiotics is a Sulpha intolerance, not sulfur, two different things, not related. If the rash matches, try using just Ala. Thanks, Kim

The rash became much more prominent right after she threw up. She did not develop a fever, but her face was very flushed. > > She threw up two more times after that... Guest guest
I have heard of many kids getting diarrhea with their first couple rounds of DMSA, but haven't heard of vomiting. All I can say is if you try another dose and the same thing happens, I WOULD NOT keep using it. My son had problems with DMSA. > > Hi All; > > We started our first round of DMSA only for our girls yesterday at 4pm. Guest guest
--- Perhaps if she doesnt tolerate the DMSA you could try Dmps[Andys protocol only!] or ALA.Just be sure to check that copper level prior to using ALA .In , " kimandglen.quinn " <kimandglen.quinn@...> wrote: > > Hi All; > > We started our first round of DMSA only for our girls yesterday at 4pm.
