The slogan displayed on PCR Van of Police Patrolling says " With You, for you

always " Police on Satuirday last busted a racket supplying " untested and

unusalble blood " and arrested six persons of the 14 member gang.

Over 100 units each of blood and plasma apart from stacks of blood unit bags

and group with names of blood banks printed on them were also recovered.

The gang used to sell the blood to the needy in eight private hospitals and

government hospitals in the city.

Private Hospitals, Government Hospitals and Blood banks management is poor in

our country as they are taking blood from professional donors -IDU, etc.

Strict action need to take on this private hospitals, doctor incharge in Govt.

Hospitals dealing with this professional donors and blood banks who buy this

blood from the identified gang.
