Guest guest
I don't know if this will help with your question but here goes: Mainstream medicine is a very complex money driven religion. And sadly most doctors do what they are told to do by pharmceuticals and medical organizations. It's good we have DAN's yes, but they are still doctors and subjected to approval by their peer organizations..who tend to ostracize them and get them in trouble if they do not follow certain protocol..that are " approved " by their group. To simplify it..doctors are in a club..organizations that dictate how they are to do things. (The American Academy of Pediatrics are one, there are tons, mostly run by people who are on the board of pharmaceutical companies.) For example: pediatricians get flack if a certain number of their patients are not vaccinated. If too many patients in their practice are not vaccinated, question are asked, pressure is put on the doctor to get the rates up. IF the doctor does not do as told, the affiliation and all it's privileges are removed. It's almost like " you do what we say or we are shutting down your practice " . Call it a cartel, a mob mentality, black mailing..whatever...but it's how things work in mainstream American medicine. So any doctor not following his peers and " what they deem acceptable " has a lot of problems on his hands. And any doctor who accepts insurance, must also practice medicine by these same rules or rules set up by the insurance company. What happens, is they can't really practice at all. This is where you get holistic doctors from...they don't have to submit to these practices because they aren't obliged to the same organizations or HMO's or insurance companies or government insurance. There are a few doctors who do use Andy's protocol. They just don't belong to the groups and don't take insurance I suspect. Otherwise, they could not use it. Insurance companies send up red flags when they get a prescription that is not " mainstream " like dmsa prescribed differently from other doctors. Also..some doctors I have heard thought it'd be too much trouble on the parents to do Andy's protocol, so they use 8 hour dosing...(to me that's a stupid reason but I've heard of it) Also, did I mention the profit margin for DAN! doctors. Andy's protocol costs very little and doesn't need a prescription generally basically if using dmsa or ala. Doctors can't make money on that. They also can't make money if you cure your child. Keeping in mind that doctors ARE the ones who wield the toxin containing needles that brought us all here, beleive they are doing well. Doctors are doctors...most of them anyway are taught the same things in school. Some study on further and realize that allpathic medicine is not based on REAL science but on studies set up to make medicines look useful. DAN!'s are just regular physicians who have taken a few seminars to classify as a " DAN! " . This does not meant they took any courses on chelation or chemistry or pharmacology or how to use chelators etc...things that might help them understand why Andy's protocol works better. So while DAN!'s are helping many kids and providing many useful therapies...most of them don't have the chelation part right yet. Why don't they..that's a darn good question..because if a laymen like myself can learn it on the Internet....there is no reason they can't. Other than previously mentioned reasons of profit, and medical religion and pressure from groups who hold their financial futures for hostage. I don't think it's not for lack of trying with Andy attempting to get them to use his protocol. It's just they aren't listening. For us, I found a holistic doctor much more helpful and did not try to rob me of every cent I had, the DAN wanted $500 just to look at my kid..going over the tests I already had done was additional and the 500 did not cover any tests he'd want to run. This was ONE visit....no testing. That seems a bit inflated to me for a fee. I did not pay that much to see any doctor out of pocket ever. The holistic doctor my child sees was $250, she spend over an hour with us and went over all the testing I brought..we left with answers, and more testing requests. And total I have spent $700 on this doctor in fees, and my dd is doing a hundreds times better. I just don't see the need to rob people with high fees like that... Honestly..who needs to make $500 an hour? I don't think that guy would have even spent an hour with us at that fee either. At least that guy was profit driven. Maybe others are more reasonable..but.... from what I hear...parents are spending thousands or more for these specialist and they end up here to undo what the doctor did. I can't comment about Terry or Brainchild or that stuff. That's everyone's personal choice. The Terror of Pediatric Medicine is a good book to read. There is so much more to doctors today than we think. I would love to see the day these doctors do use the protocol so more kids can get better! Where is that bar that > you so mention on getting DANS to fallow your chelation protocol? > > > > Terri at Branchild is one of the most trusted individuals on these boards > that I follow and the products are superior. > > > > Tammy > > > > > > > >
