I feel for you.  I had a request for religious exemption not accepted in NY. 

Although they did not reject my request legally (in writing) I decided not to

fight it b/c it was only an EI class and figured I would save my battle (and

money) for PreK which will be next year.  My son is not vaccinated.  I am hoping

my son's new pedi (which is DAN friendly and I will meet next month) will

authorize a medical exemption based on the fact that he has lymes disease and

immune deficiency. 

 

BTW, you are entitled to follow a religion of your own design that is not

organized, therefore, you would be your own representative.  You should just

work on collecting your priniciples, such as the immune system was designed by

god and not to be tampered with or something a little more concise and/or

godly.  )
