I have no answer for what you asked.

You can buy lithium ornate from Vitamin Research Products.

If I recall correctly it is in MUCH MUCH lower doses than what an

Rx lithium would have.

It doesn't have to be orotate, it can be any form.

Hi ,

Thanks for the reply on my post last week about my hair test. yes,I

looked at your daughters lithium and it's as low as mine. I started on

lithium last week and I am not sure if I feel an improvement yet. But I

am just beginning a new hormone supplememntaion of hydrocortisone and

armour thyroid. Two hormones, thyroid and cortisone that are virtually

nonexsistent in my body. I believe the mercury killed my Pitiutary

gland. I now have to start supplementing the rest of the sex hormones.

Along the way the lithium was knocked off. But I have to be careful

because I think I read that the lithium effects thyroid

hormone..reduces it and I do not need that. Once I get this figured out

I can that have a better footing to help my kids......I am glad that

your daughter seems to be doing better. Keep researching.

As Sir Wnston Churchill said " Never, Ever give up "

Take care,

You read that the lithium affects the thyroid?

I may sound a little dumb, but does the pituartary gland deal with

the sex hormones?

No. It is a supplement that I ordered on line. It is called Lithium

Chloride.

Hi ,

I meant to reply to your post about the hair test but didn't have

time. It looks a lot like mine and I also take Armour & HC. My lithium

is even lower than yours so I think I will try the supplement also

(orotate from VRP, the one that Andy & others have recommended). I

also wanted to say we have similar profiles with age & kids

ages/issues so if you want to write privately, feel free!

, that's wonderful news about your daughter's progress. I can't

comment on dosage however. Have you searched the archives for Andy's

comments?

Keep us posted!

I am up to 6 drops on the lithium chloride. I love this stuff. I see

it helping a lot. Her lithium levels were non-existent on hair test. I

can't believe my dd is getting more " normal " . It says on the bottle to

give 10 drops. Can I go above that, or should I stop there? I feel

like giving the whole bottle! LOL

lithium can affect thyroid function yes, but as I understood it, it

would be in higher doses or in prescription lithium. What most use is

supplemental doses no more than what you are supposed to get in

drinking water. Just that some parts of the country have less in the

water than others.

the pituitary is responsible for all the hormones yes. It does not

make the sex hormones but it regulates the production, i guess that's

the easiest way to explain it.

I too have messed up endocrine system from mercury. On armour now, had

been on hydrocortisone and think I need to go back on it. Progesterone

as well. Going to do some more testing.

It's a systemic thing with hormones and mercury, the receptors blocked

up, the glands poisoned, the pituitary not working....

Correct. Rx levels of Li dosing may (or may not) affect thyroid function,

nutritional

supplement amounts are not going to.

Dear and ,

already confirmed what I was going to post after doing some

research. I guess the amounts of Lithium we are taking or giving are

just fine and will not have an effect on the thyroid. I am happy to

hear this, I will start as soon as possible.

, I will email soon, I am trying to find some time, everyone in

my house has the flu.

I also wanted to say that I love this man, Andy Cutler. His postive

attitude and unselfishness when give suggestions is admirable. We are

so lucky to have a kind man with so much knowlegde able to take time

out of his life to help. If you are reading... Thank you Andy.

on the page it says the strength 4.9mg not 120mg as stated in the

upper part by the bottle--just wanted to check this with whoever

ordered it -did you actually get your bottle from iherb yet? wondering

which typo is wrong! I went and ordered from VRP for now- but would

love to know what the bottle from iherb actually is thanks!

Elemental lithium is 4.9mg. The other 115.1mg is orotate. A lot of

supplements you buy doesn't list elemental amounts. i.e. calcium carbonate.

You think you're getting 500mg of calcium, but part of that is carbonate, so

you're actually getting less of pure calcium.

Hi, Iveta.

My hair test was OK, but I take just 1 a day. It's good for neutrophils. My

4.5yo was very low, so I started him at 1/4 cap and worked up to a full one.

He just gets it once a day. His hair mercury was in the yellow, so I think

contaminated seafood consumption was leading to his low lithium, so I'm

hoping it'll slowly go back up with no more known mercury exposure. And no

side effects that we saw what-so-ever. His mood has been more stable lately.
