Guest guest
--- Hi My son also has the hyperventilating acidosis issue we have been treating it with apple cider vinegar (needs to be with the " Mother " ). we also give him huge amounts of minerals mineral deficiency can cause the blood to become acidic. These help but generally we are trying to find the cause instead of just treating the symptoms. If anyone could help this would be much apprecaited!!!!!!! Apple juice can help correct the body's PH but I don't see how vinegar could. For me, the root cause of my tendency to be too acid is a genetic disorder. Still, eating differently has helped resolve the situation. I will always have to be careful how I eat but things really have changed, in part because I have killed off a lot of infection(s) that were never really recognized by conventional medicine. One thing that helped me when I was a lot more acid: eating lots of lettuce. I don't eat lettuce here lately but I at it about 4 or 5 times a week for a long time. You can google acid-alkaline food charts and figure out what foods your child actually likes that are alkaline and try feeding him more of that. Good luck with this. Guest guest
---As in lactic acidosis? B6 l-carnitine,coQ ect are helpful. However if a general if sodium/potassium is off this also may be an issue. kelp can be helpful How do you know he is in avidosis and just not tolerating something he is being given? In Autism- Mercury , " sharongrabsch " <iangrabsch@...> wrote: > > --- > Hi > My son also has the hyperventilating acidosis issue we have been > treating it with apple cider vinegar (needs to be with > the " Mother " ). we also give him huge amounts of minerals mineral > deficiency can cause the blood to become acidic. > These help but generally we are trying to find the cause instead of > just treating the symptoms. Have you managed to get a capnometer reading ? Do you give adrenal support ? As misfunctioning adrenals could be this cause you are after. Also, if his breathing is not correct and so he has chronic low CO2, then he may easily slip into a full-scale hyperventilation episode. A capnometer reading when he is in reasonable condition will determine this. Mo
Guest guest
diet is often the cause of acidic body ph. As well as mineral deficiency. Taking supplements like magnesium int he citrate form and Vitamin C as ascorbic acid can help keep the ph alkaline. So can drinking baking soda in water in an emergency situation. Viruses also seem to cause our ph to go acidic at which point I give the above supplement and get their ph back in about 30 minutes. > > > > --- > > Hi > > My son also has the hyperventilating acidosis issue we have been > > treating it with apple cider vinegar (needs to be with > > the " Mother " ). we also give him huge amounts of minerals mineral > > deficiency can cause the blood to become acidic. > > These help but generally we are trying to find the cause instead of > > just treating the symptoms. From what I have read, and my personal experience also, ACV acidifies the stomach, which alkalinizes the body. Right now, if I eat without ACV, I get acid indigestion. But if I take ACV before eating, I am fine. Dana
