Dear Forum,

/message/11810

Greetings from Ramesh,

In the continuation of Mr. Nandhakumar, President of Villupuram DLN, I want to

share some more points to your knowledge.

All the Positive networks are established and its goal to raise the voice for

People Living with HIV/AIDS. When raising voice for the rights of PLHIVs Mr.

Nandhakumar became a Scapegoat and the same has been done for other PLHIVs

network for several reason from TANSACS key officials.

As the epidemic increasing prevalence rate of HIV in day by day in Tamil nadu.

Why because DPMs has appointed from TANSACS in several district were not

concentrating in effective implementation of programme. Rather they create

local politics and unwanted issues in the districts. Stigma and discrimination

previles and PLHIV Network have taken major roles to in create enabling

environment for PLHIVs.

But what TANSACS taking necessary steps for that?

In the ART center not experienced Doctors has appointed

by TANSACS. So that more PLHIVs are in trouble and they may lead to more death

rate of PLHIVs. But TANSACS didn't take appropriate stpes for this issues still

now? why?

And We just want to highlight the real issues happened in a district by The

Deputy Director, CCC/DIC, TANSACS during the selection of CCC in some districts.

He was caught up in scandal by the a District Collector (Name and District not

mentioned).

And the Dt. Collector sent a complain letter to TANSACS against regarding his

corruptive activities. But still now TANSACS has given him the key position and

giving much and more important to

him in spite of complain from the District collector.

In spite all the issues against TANSACS community activist has been

harassed and for advocating for the rights of PLHIVs.

This type of approach will hinder better implementation of prevention & care

support treatment and also GIPA implementation to TANSACS and DAPCU of Tamil

Nadu

The TANSACS Project Director is not interested to involve PLHIVs community in

any of the programme in Tamil Nadu and he ignore GIPA.

Finnaly If this email is not addressed by TANSACS and NACO immediately; then the

PLHIVs in Tamil Nadu will meet the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister directly to take

necessary action for that.

Dont Kill the PLHIVs communities and please leave them to live long.

Regards,

Ramesh

PLHIV
