Some kids can't use No-Fenol at first, but after a while they do okay with it. Does she get really mean if all you give is a small sprinkle? I know some kids who had to start really low dose, so you might try that, see if it works. Dana
Guest guest
Hi, I'm interested in trying No-Fenol as well. I have a few questions: 1. Is there a PST test to see if my son is deficient? 2. What kind of No-Phenol do you give? https://www.houston- enzymes.com/store/product.php?p=7 & c=1 I want to give capsules but don't know which one is best (in terms of the fillers) 3. Should you do the Feingold diet and enzymes? Meaning it probably makes sense to reduce the levels of phenols in your diet? 4. What do you do about giving enzymes for a school age kid during lunch. I bet that is hard to explain? Thanks! JT

Is there a PST test to see if my son is deficient? The only " tests " that I know of, are 1) removing all high phenol foods, 2) trying epsom salt baths, and 3) trying No-Fenol enzyme. If you notice changes by doing one of those things, he likely has a phenol issue. > 2. What kind of No-Phenol do you give? No-Fenol is a brand sold by HNI http://www.houstonni.com/ > I want to give capsules but don't know which one is best (in terms of > the fillers) If he tolerates rice, either one is probably fine. > 3. No-Fenol does not address all phenol foods for all people, so sometimes diet is also required. > 4. What do you do about giving enzymes for a school age kid during > lunch. I bet that is hard to explain? Most schools will want a doctor's " written order " . There are other things you can do also, depending on the school.
