Guest guest
Our son's hair test shows very high copper, with copper all the way to the end of the page, as high as you can go. (this is a follow up hair test to one done 6 months ago, pre chelation, back then it was high but not in the red, and we were giving lots of high copper foods then, which we stopped, so we were surprised by this new test) We are giving zinc three times a day, and we added in molybdenum, also three times a day, about 50 mg of this with each meal(he is 3 and 30 lbs) - is this enough to combat copper? We also started Liver Life. Will this help with copper? What else can we do? Is milk thistle necessary? Also, we are continuing with ALA chelation. He receives 3 mg per dose along with 10 mg DMSA. Is it ok to continue with ALA while copper is so high? He seems okay with this low dose. Are there any things/ signs I should be looking for to tell us it is not ok? Our DAN! says that his copper could be high if we have copper pipes and shower him with water from these pipes. This may be, but somehow, I felt this was too pat an answer, and I could not ignore the ultra high copper in his hair test. Would appreciate some advice. Thanks.
