Guest guest
Hi, We are seeing gains for my 8 year old 110-lb. son with 75 mg DMSA/25 mg ALA on a 3 days on/11 days off chelation regime. However, by the afternoon of the 3rd day (Sunday), he begins to have intestinal gas. I think it is yeast, despite his taking nystatin 3 times per day. I also rotate pau d'arco, OLE, and goldenseal for him, and he takes 4 Klaire Ther Biotic Detox probiotic capsules each night. (This is not a complete list of his supplements.) My questions: Does the DMSA/ALA dose look right? Am I right to suspect yeast, and what else can I do for it? We are fortunate that he is high-functioning enough to be embarrassed about the gas, but of course do not want him to feel bad. His 3rd grade classmates are complaining about it. Thanks.
