Guest guest
----- Original Message ----- From: Kate Dorn We decided that IV's were too dangerous (after some help from listmates as well as my own research) and are deciding to do Andy's protocol. We are going to buy Andy's book and maybe with some help from others on here we will be successful. We are talking to our DAN! in a week about switching and I was just wondering what are some things I can do to make it more successful. I seem to be reading a lot that yeast might be problematic on dmsa. Is this something I need to completely irradicate before we start the dmsa? or does it just need to be controlled? ===>Yeast will never leave completely until enough of the metals have been removed so you can't wait until yeast is no longer a problem. You're right in that you just have to find a way to control it, if it becomes a problem. Different kids respond to different yeast protocols; lots of probiotics (10x what the bottle says) high dose biotin (5-10 mgs per meal), GSE and wild Oil of oregano are good to use on a trial basis. Don't rotate these as it will likely make the yeast resistant. Any help would be great.

In addition to his books, read his posts in the archives (onibasu is great), they are quite helpful. Contact him if you get stuck. I believe his regimen is the safest and most effective. My three kids are very close to being done with oral chelation (DMSA/ALA). They are normal now. No diet restrictions, no maintenance supps anymore, no developmental delays. I stayed the course with Andy's protocol for SIX YEARS and well over 100 rounds. Speaking from experience, Andy doesn't pull stuff out of his rear-end. He really knows his science and balances that with a healthy set of common sense. Yeast will be around for quite awhile. Just try to keep it from getting too far out of control. I stayed the course with Andy's protocol for SIX YEARS and well over 100 rounds. This is very encouraging to hear that, we just started the second round and very hopeful it will help. Can you share with us more of your story ? what were the problems ? how was the recovery ? was it gradual or in leaps etc ? what were the challenges and problems. We all strive to walk a successfully path which was discovered by others before us, so every detail can help. -- Ron
Guest guest
How often did you chelate? Did you take breaks? You state 6 years and over 100 rounds. If you chelated every weekend, 100 rounds would be 2 years. Because of you sucess, I am just curious how you did things! Thanks From: nohg4me <kdironside@...> Subject: [ ] Re: Andy's Protocol..
