Guest guest
Dear , Thank you for your email. Our daughter got well from autism as a child through patterning and diet, and it was the shift to vegan that tipped her over into well. How healthy can cod liver oil be for anyone when the liver is the detox organ and the seas are polluted? As the body becomes healthier, less toxic, less stress from consuming animal products, things normalize. I've read other parents' comments that being vegan has made a great difference for their child with autism. Also 2 cases of parents putting their child diagnosed with juvenile diabetes on the raw vegan diet, and the diabetes vanishing. And actually watched this worked so fast for our dear neighbor in her eighties. Sincerely, Francine **************Play online games for FREE at Games.com! Guest guest
Francine, Would Omega 3's made from anchovies and sardines be OK on the liver? Guest guest
You can get higher quality oils that are tested for heavy metals, PCB's etc. You definitely want quality. And keep in mind that unless you can be sure you are eating 100% organic/biodynamic, then you've still got issues because we've done a great job in polluting the air and the ground as well as the oceans. By the way, what does " tipped over into the well " mean? Does this mean complete and absolute recovery, with no autism whatsoever? I've also heard of cases of people eating healthy (non vegan) and getting over diabetes. Then there's the B12 issue. Maybe you got lucky Francine and your child was able to derive the EPA and DHA from the flaxseed. But my daughter was so badly mercury poisoned, so many biochemical pathways have been damaged, I saw no improvements on just flaxseed. And this is only anecdotal, but then again so are your examples..... of all the parents I know with ASD kids, the ones using CLO are doing so much better than the kids on flaxseed only. Guest guest
Cod liver oil is the Almighty healer in our home. Words can't describe the thankfulness and gratefulness I have towards the substance. We use barleans now, but we always use mercury free clo. We also eat meat including and organic beeler bacon which if you tasted the extreme yummyness of, the melt in your mouth goodness, the amazing aroma, the fat that you don't drain off but that you eat with the bacon, you'd know it came from a very unstressed and happy pig! I tell you beeler bacon could de veganize or de vegitarianize someone. It's just that good. It would be worth cheating for...I mean if you ever do want to eat some meat... Corn and gluten free also. Guest guest
I disagree that arachidonic acid increases inflammation. I got 's inflammation under control using a weston a price foundation ideas that are 180 degrees away from avoiding arachidonic acid. We used a porters milk cure approach followed by giving her more fats and more red meats. In my research we found that there is a huge divide there in philosophies. There was a huge fork in the road and we had to go one direction or the other because the inflammation diets were so opposite of each other. Please go on a hyperallergenic diet and trial each food your child is on before you make drastic changes in their diet. My child was allergic to all of the gluten free grains and her inflammation worsened while on the SCD diet because she was severely allergic to the foods in the new diet. She was worse on gluten and casein free diets, much worse. In my experience the Weston A price type of diet would be way more compatable with the Andy Cutler method than the eastern diets that forbid red meats.....Weston a price ideas seem to promote getting more nutrients from foods and cod liver oil is a main component in the diet. just my experience anyway. Reminding you that my son chelated successfully on a diet of burger king and pizza hut keeps it in perspective for me. My daughter needs protien and red meat to control her inflammation. I stand by that and she is inflammation free 2 years this January. I do very much agree that inflammation is an issue for asd kids. Just disagree about how to go about stopping the inflammation when it comes to foods.

For us, avoiding foods high in arachidonic acid has been very helpful. I don't doubt that other folks without CF will have very different experiences. For him, addressing his CF-related medical issues has done a great deal for his " ASD " symptoms. I would be happy to read any links you can offer with solid information about the view you have. I have googled Weston Price and AA and basically come up with unsupported sound bites. They say: " Series-2 prostaglandins that the body makes from arachidonic acid both encourage and inhibit inflammation under appropriate circumstances. " I am very curious what " under appropriate circumstances " means. Peace. Guest guest
We didn't see any results that I can remember for two months. Two months after starting clo we added a phosphydityl choline supplement and grapeseed extract and within a week after adding the new things, we think we got a combined effect from clo and choline or clo and grapeseed extract and he went from a complete shut in with ocd fear of leaving the house to going out three times a week. Also his talking and eye contact, and socialization went through the roof. The gains have stayed and he is no longer on any supplements or chelation and those gains are still here, two years later. He now drives and goes to college and works full time and goes out regularly. On halloween, he and his friends went to haunted houses.
