Dana, you say that my son's chewing and biting of his clothes and hand

can be due to intolerance or yeast. I think yeast is definitely an

issue now - I have increased his yeast protocol, and the giddiness and

hyperactivity are much less. The biting is still going on now though,

just as bad as before. The only supps I have introduced are vitamin

D3, IP6, and vitamin B6, phased in one at a time over the last few

weeks. I They are all hypoallergenic, with none of his allergens in

the formulations. Could it be the B6? Someone suggested Candex also

as a possible cause, but he has been on that for the better part of a

year, so I doubt the Candex can be the cause.

I was giving fish oil a few weeks ago, which was causing eczema, so I

stopped this a while ago, it seems anything that has anything in it

that ever had anything to do with soybeans, is just not tolerated.

Also, I was using a strawberry flavored vitamin for a bit as well,

which I stopped, which was not tolerated, even though he tolerates

strawberry CLO just fine. Whatever was the source of the flavoring

contributed to the yeast problem I believe. Could the ongoing hand

biting and clothing chewing be ongoing after effects of these things,

even though they were both stopped in the last 2 weeks? Also, we had a

dietary infraction at Christmas, my son stole away and ate 2 none gfcf

cookies. Could this all be contributing to yeast and this new behavior?

I can't figure out what it could be otherwise, unless his yeast

symptoms are now manifesting themselves in this fashion, instead of

how they used to -- did this ever happen to you, where the typical

signs of yeast in your kids changed, so at first you did not recognize

what you were dealing with?

Thanks. Irene

B6 is a high yeast feeder.

Yes, especially if it is yeast.

Also, we had a

Possibly.

Yep, happened a few times. I think we have had 3-4 different sets of

yeast symptoms here. Sometimes the change is good, and I like the new

symptoms better than the old. But sometimes the change is not good.

This not only happened with my kids, but with me personally also.
