Guest guest
Does any body have expirience with giving valtrex and lysine at the same time. My 5 y.o. son has herpes virus and on valtrex currently, would it be good idea to add lysine also? He has been on valtrex for 2 months, and seems to do ok, with little improvements, we are at the dose that doc gave to us, so I don't increase myself. Thanks to all for help Natalia
Guest guest
The balance of Lysine and Agentine??? needs to fall on the Lysine side to stop the Herpes from spreading. I take Lysine daily and so do all my kids. > > Does any body have expirience with giving valtrex and lysine at the > same time. However, my son's herpes virus was eliminated with lysine, and it also prevented new herpes virus from just going back into his brain. Lysine deficiency was one of the things that caused my son's immune system dysfunction. So I would definitely recommend you give lysine at some point. The viral die off from lysine caused a LOT of yeast overgrowth, which I controlled with biotin and GSE. So watch for yeast. Dana

Once my son was finished with high dose lysine protocol to eliminate herpes virus, I did have to give a few days of arginine, to get his ratio back in line.
