Guest guest
I have always used Pau D'Arco and Oregon Grape along with Candex and Candidase for yeast control. Now with weekly ALA chelation this protocol (from Brainchild) does not seem to be cutting it. So today, I gave my son one drop of Nutribiotic GSE - and it seemed to hurt his stomach, he refused to eat at all, and when he did (just potato chips) with his afternoon supplements, it got worse. When I gave him a dose of chelator a little later, he threw up all over the place. But then he was very calm, and later started to use a lot of language he never used before. We don't know if this is due to the ALA or the GSE. A friend told me this could be die off. Should we continue using the GSE? We don't know what to do. We want him to eat, he is always picky, but now he is especially picky. All he had all day was a gfcf sugar free breakfast bar, some potato chips, and just some rice for dinner. Even his favorite home made foods like gfcf nuggets and fries, he refused to eat. Should we go back to our other protocol, and just bring out the GSE when he is seeming " yeasty " as he was this week, to knock the yeast down again? We are afraid the GSE is just too strong/harsh on his stomach. I use it myself, and sometimes it burns my stomach too, where I have to stop it for a while. Please advise. It is high phenol, so you might need to give it with No-Fenol enzyme. It causes rapid yeast die off, so it might have been a die off symptom. You can try giving activated charcoal 30-45 minutes after the GSE to reduce this problem. Or he might not tolerate the GSE and you might need to give something different, like oil of oregano. > just bring out the GSE when he is seeming " yeasty " as he was this week, to knock the yeast > down again? We are afraid the GSE is just too strong/harsh on his stomach. If you want, try putting the drop of GSE into an empty capsule, and give it after a full meal. Or, mix one drop into about an inch of water, stir it with a spoon [GSE tends to stick to the bottom of the cup], and then have him drink only a small sip, so he is not even getting one full drop of GSE.
