I found a list of sponsors for Denis Leary's show Rescue Me.

I think at this point it's important to hit directly at the wallet without

giving too much publicity to this man.

I of course haven't read his book, in his statement he goes on about how

this is only a sound bite and how it's taken out of context because it's

about grown men

who use this self diagnosis as an excuse for their failing careers...he also

advises that taking one or 2 sentences out of context is ill advised and we

should read the book before jumping to conclusions.

How a paragraph ripping children and their parents can tie into that

explanation is the spin of all spins, he says it right there, " read the

book " ...there is that reason..it's a selling point.

I however, don't have time to read his stupid book because I am too busy

reading real books about how to help my son with autism, or as Mr. Leary

would label him, " dumb ass " kid..

Here's the thing, this is not going to end until everyone and by everyone I

mean everyone besides the Autism Community, gets as angry about comments

like this as everyone gets about racist and anti Semitic

comments. It is just as hateful. I did not see the same type of outrage in

the general public towards Savage as I witnessed toward Don Imus.

This has to stop. When you say something hateful, hurtful, derogatory and

dismissive you should be held accountable. It was cowardly of Mr. Leary. It

was low. It was a " dumb ass moronic stupid lazy thing " to say.

But, quite frankly I am not surprised. A decade ago there were substantial

allegations that he stole material from another comic, Bill Hicks, who was a

friend of his. This comic unfortunately died way too young, at 32, but the

similarities in the acts raised major questions. I wonder what disorders

will he self diagnose himself with to fend off the question of

plagiarism..especially when people who plagiarize could be viewed as too

lazy, too stupid, and not creative enough to come up with their own

ideas...lets see, could one of these men he supposedly wrote this chapter

about really be him?
