The skin is the largest organ in the human body. Seriously rocks!!..I use skin all the time, from salt baths and such, to zinc cream on kids, and so on. I get really good results, especially with things that aren't tolerated well, like zinc (for example, my girl will smear herself head to toe, but will refuse supps, if they have zinc too many times in a row ...During the end of the summer & currently, I am playing with some herb info & poultice type of things - mostly with local weeds, no less...for example, marigold petals totally rock for mosquito bites & any other itches, and plantain works almost as well. All good stuff & my most recent " fun foray. " Ummmm, there is an article on skin absorption, of a scientific bent - by a college student, that I found about a year, or more, ago and have since lost...Think I was hunting ketone info when I found it. As I remember it, skin is a whole heck of a lot more complicated and very smart, about what comes in & what goes out ..and, your thought below - I now take into consideration what could be absorbed by your skin, that is totally icky. And have changed some daily habits in our house accordingly No harsh, never mind toxic, cleaners, for one. wishing you the best, elizabeth > I have also found that removing toxic cleaners and other sources of > stressful inputs from my environment lightens the load of what my body > needs to process out.
