Hi,

My ds needs high doses of vit. C to avoid constipation (currently around

6000mg/day) so does that mean he would easily get kidney stones?  How can I

prevent that?  Can I give IP6 to my 7.5 year old son?  What would be the dosage?

  Take care,

It is a demineralizer. I used high doses for 4 months to eliminate

calcium and iron toxicity for my son. And for me, 2 weeks eliminated

my kidney stones.

IP6 isn't a demineralizer, it is an immune stimulant and second messenger

precursor.

Vitamin C doesn't cause kidney stones, this is one of the stories that unethical

doctors

practicing medicine without a clue made up to try to scare people out of taking

vitamins in

hopes they'd need more drugs.

I met someone, a young someone, 20, that had trouble with kidney

stones and his doctor told him to stop eating so much protein.... ?

I would like to pass on some info to him from someone who knows what

they heck they're talkin' about.

Andy?

Anyone?

He is in a terrible possition and something I think a 20 year old

shouldn't have to be dealing with.

The only " stones " that I know vitamin C can cause, come from oxalate

levels. I am not aware of vitamin C causing kidney stones.

It was most helpful at my house to eliminate toxicity of calcium and

iron. I started at 100mg and worked up from there.

My doctor told me to avoid caffeine.

I used IP6 to eliminate mine, and then I took supplements that calcium

requires for proper absorption. I have not had another kidney stone

issue since I did this.

What's IP6 & do u know what caused ur kid stones? He was a typical body builder

who ate his weight in protein, well 1 g of prot per lb & now he has kidney

stones. He most likely took supps & now the doc has him on lockdown & ittle prot

& no supps) & he's dying to get better, but is at a total freeze.

Inositol hexophosphate or phytic acid.

I used it as a demineralizer. It is also used to combat cancer.

My son was calcium toxic. He did not have stones, I did. I used IP6

to eliminate my stones. I used IP6 to eliminate my son's toxicity.
