Guest guest
Hi Dana, Check message # 145133, is the best recollection we have of the difference between her before and after 30 rounds. We used both Dmsa and Ala and for awhile, td-dmps and oral Ala and for awhile just Ala. All were beneficial for her recovery. The plusses for using Dmsa is that it does speed up the excretion of metal, a little. Dmsa can also help with the side effects of Ala, which for some kids is being a little spacey, this was true for us. The minuses are that Dmsa can create more yeast, did for us, more so than just Ala. And Dmsa is mildly taxing on the system, but much less so with the small amounts you use on Andy's protocol. You also need to use Dmsa periodically if you have lead. Our girl continues to do well, she is in second grade, her third year in a typical school with no aide or other modifications. She is at the top of her class academically and does very well socially. She still has the three best friends she made in kindergarten and participates in ballet and girl scouts. Long after she recovered cognitively she continued to have problems with health effects from the metal toxicity, these are slowing leaving. As we never did any other treatment than Andy's protocol it's pretty clear to us that all her improvements have come from chelation. I hope you see lots of improvement with chelation with your boys.
