Guest guest
I asked my DAN also a very good immunologist the same question about why my son has never shown any allergy symptoms but after run food panel, he is allergic to most of items growing on earth...( he is allergic to even rice, potatoes, wheat, dairy, you name it). He told me that a lot of time, it shows in where we can't see such as brain inflammation... Again, food allergy, phenol sensitivity all go back to the basic---metablism is broken, and we need to help them to rebuild.... Me and the GFCF diet Date: Wednesday, September 17, 2008, 6:58 PM I think I know the answer to this, but I want to hear from others on it. My son has been GFCF for approx. 2 years, Soy, MSG free for 8 months. During all this time, I have been doing most of the diet with him, but after awhile, started cheating a bit because I saw he was quite happy with what he was eating and all. (Plus I was hungry). So I found out rather quickly that I have a problem with dairy, my nose starts running, ears hurt, and I get a sinus infection if I keep it up. I also noticed that if I eat dairy and wheat, the reaction is even worse. I can sometimes eat cheese on something without too bad a reaction. In the last two weeks, we had two pepperoni pizzas and I made a GFCF one for . Both times I had horrible reactions to it (like never before). This is confusing to me. All I can figure is that my body has started to detox and is therefore more sensitive to these things? I only have one amalgam, but cannot have it removed until Nov. (dentist is having surgery). I would be interested in any input as to WHY my allergies are seemingly WORSE after going on this GFCF diet. Are they just more noticeable because I did an elimination diet? Also, my son never had " gut problems " as far as I knew, cause he had normal BMs and all, till we started this diet (just like me). I am so puzzled by this, I have researched and researched and I know what we have to do (chelate) but it still puzzles me as to why the allergies/gut problems got worse on this diet. If my son had sensitivities, why didn't he have diarrhea/allergies before?

Sometimes they would get worse, other times better. But the symptoms would change. Dana
