Solutions needed for probems with ICTCs in Tamilnadu

Dear FORUM,

The following problems existS in almost all ICTCs of Tamilnadu.

1]ICTCs' computers, generator, dvd etc are kept & used by general side [can

notbe usedy ICTC EMPLOYEES].

2]ICTC employees are put over-burden of generalworks in addtion to ictc works.

3]Needed space are not given to ICTCs in PHCs & GHs.

4] Medical Officers (MO) s are threatening & forcing the ICTC`staff to works

such as doing generalworks, demanding that counsellors also must do lab-works

[all testings etc.,] compelling patients to do HIV tests to increase clients

load.

5 Public are complaining about generalside & doctors often are doing smoking,

drinking, immoral activities, showing partiality, getting bribes, doing private

practice, threatening etc.,by these situations ictc employees are very much

affected.

Please suggest solutions for this problem.
