Booklet Release!

 

Join Lotus in the release of a booklet titled “ACT Project - Advocacy by

Cultural Teams,†which details the planning process, progression, and the

final results of the World Bank funded ACT Project in Kumbakonam, Tamil Nadu and

its surrounding districts.

of collaboration and support across the boundaries of sexuality and gender

difference.

 

About the ACT Project:

 

The ACT Project model is based on performing cultural programmes for panchayat

leaders and local village constituencies with the goal of reducing stigma and

discrimination for the kothi community in rural spaces. The project has been

completed, and the 75 performances were met with acclaim and great interest. The

entire process was planned and managed by the kothi community.
