In your last post, you said a therapeutic dose would be 6g's, but you

only take 1g? If you take 2, that would be 2gs., right? I'll try

researching it too. Thx!

Hi Dina,

I just figured out there are 2 of us 's answering these! I think the

other (from MA I believe) has more correct information. Some of my

doses have been adjusted due to all the other things I am taking, and to my

difficulty in swallowing pills (due to enlarged thyroid).

Hi Dina,

I'm not sure if you're asking me ( in MA) or the other , but

since I mentioned the therapeutic dose in a previous post I'll answer

here. The therapeutic dose is UP TO 6 or more grams daily. I believe

Dr. Stoll went as high as 9g for use in treating bi-polar disorder. My

son takes 2 grams a day or 2000mg which breaks down to 1000mg EPA and

150mg DHA per 2 capsules. These capsules also contain 20 I.U. of Vit E

which is important to keep the fish oil fresh. If your fish oil

doesn't list Vit E in the ingredients it is beneficial to add a daily

Vit E to your supplements as well.
