Hi, I was just wondering if someone could explain to me what happened to me

today. I ate some popcorn and became extremely tired...in fact, I fell into

a deep sleep and when I woke up I was feeling a bit out of it, I still am.

I have eaten popcorn before while on this diet and haven't had this problem.

I was just wondering if anyone could tell me why it happened. Thanks so

much.

That sounds like my reaction to a corn allergy. I can't eat corn of any

kind... corn oil, corn syrup, corn starch, or corn meal. Within 20

minutes after eating any kind of corn product or corn additive I get

profoundly sleepy and am *out-of-it " and can't think right. Try

eliminating all corn from your diet for a while and then add it back in.

This isn't easy as most prepared foods have some kind of corn in it...

crackers, bread, etc. and don't forget baking power and powdered

sugar... corn of some kind is in just about *everything*. Corn along

with wheat, dairy, and sugars are the most allergic producing products.

I call it a *hidden* allergy as it really isn't very obvious unless you

are aware and know what you're looking for! I wish you luck.

Hi ,

This has happened to me also. At one point,I was able to tolerate popcorn

and then, as time passed, I became intolerant to it. If I have popcorn

now, I get a headache and extreme fatigue.

Hope this helps you.
