Guest guest
My daughter, soon to be 10, had never had any problems with her teeth. That is until about 3 months into chelation when two nice size cavities emerged. One of them was in a baby molar, the other adult. I'm sure they're the result of giving her pear juice every three hours during the night. Even though it's the good, expensive, organic kind, pears still have natural occurring sugars. I was not about to let that stop me from chelating! I had the adult molar filled with a white composite filling and took my chanc with the baby tooth. We have no dental insurance, so at that time it was pretty much my only option. Since then, I have been giving my daughter Xylitol in place of sugar. She gets it in some baked foods, mouthwash and mints I buy from Epic dental. She gets about 8g a day. The latest dental visit, her baby tooth has no cavity at all and her dentist says her teeth are looking better than ever. Also, 2 other " watchable " areas are off the " watch " list. We are still chelating (using ALA alone) and giving pear juice, as that's the only juice she'll tolerate, and we have no problems at all with her teeth. Anyways, just some thoughts of mine on dental care. Hope this helps. Take care madeezmom
Guest guest
On this topic, I will add that switching to sea salt has helped with our general mouth health and our teeth are a lot better than they used to be.
