Guest guest
The doctor who delivered my daughter told me the exact same thing--that my placenta looked old, and she asked me if I smoked (I didn't). She wasn't trying to be mean in any way; she seemed concerned. She showed me how there were calcified deposits on the placenta and she was right--it did look strange. Sort of dull. The umbellical cord was much thicker and brighter and more colorful with my son than it was with my daughter, too. Neither of my children are autistic but they both have allergies, and my daughter's are worse. I would love to know exactly what the issue was with my placenta. I ate healthy and didn't have any vaccines while pregnant. > > > > > > I'll never forget that nurses words.
